Can you have modular units made to your own measurements?
Our 7 modular sofa styles are not available in made-to-measure units but as they are comprised of individual modular units, you can create the shape and size that suits your space best. Each modular sofa comes in a huge variety of combinations, which you can dream up yourself, but we’re always on hand should you need any help with measurements.
Can I use my own fabric?
You certainly can! Give us a call on 0345 400 2222 and we’ll fill you in or click here for a little more information.
Can you do bespoke sizes of the sofas or beds?
Unfortunately we are not able to do bespoke sizes of our sofas. Extending, for example, the length or depth of a sofa involves some pretty major changes to frames, cutting patterns and frame construction so, it becomes prohibitively expensive. Our sales team will be able to help you choose a sofa that will perfectly fit the space you have! Simply drop us a line or pop in for a chat.
What customisations can I make to my sofa?
If your chosen style has piping on its cushions or frame, we can also offer contrast piping to your sofa. This is also the case for items that feature buttons, such as our Sark armchair. Additionally some of our pieces can be upholstered in a combination of two different fabrics to make it even more unique. These customisations require a small fee; just get in touch with our team for more information.
What happens if I don't like my sofa when it arrives?
Send it back, no questions asked, and picked up with a smile (a little forced perhaps). For whatever reason, however tiny. But, if you have used a bespoke fabric from a wholesaler, or make bespoke changes to your sofa or bed, we are not obliged to automatically accept a return. That said, we don’t want you to have to live with something that simply doesn’t fit in with your life, so we will almost certainly take it back but will charge a re-stocking fee of 55%.
I notice that pretty much all your cushions have feathers in - I have an allergy, can you help?
Many of our sofas come hypoallergenic as standard. For those that do not, we can offer a different kind of cushion that consists simply of fibre rather than feathers.
Can I be certain that my sofa will be an exact colour match to my swatch?
Not always. Dealing with natural fabrics, especially when undyed can be an imprecise business. Batches can differ in shade and tone very slightly, and from time to time the swatch that we send out might come from a different batch to that which is used on your sofa. To be honest, the variations are normally very slight indeed, but there are certain fabrics which are greater offenders than others (for example the charcoal brushed linen cotton and natural flax linen). What we can promise is that if you order, for example, a sofa and an armchair at the same time, they will be made from the same batch, and thus will match. Ordering an extra chair, at a later date, can cause problems.
The cushions on my new sofa feel a bit stiff. What do I do?
When your new sofa first arrives, you may find that the seat and back cushions look and feel firmer than you expected. Don’t worry, this is normal, and they will settle down after not very long. To help speed up the process, give them a good plumping to redistribute the feathers and turn them over every so often. Find out more about caring for your sofa >

Do you have a brochure?
Not in the traditional sense, but we do go one better. Go to our Free samples page and you can create your very own brochure or “comfy pack”, which we’ll send to you the same day. Pick information on any sofa, armchair or bed and any fabrics you’d like to have a closer look at.

Will the delivery men put the sofa together for me?
Of course! We won’t leave until your sofa (or bed) is fully assembled in the room of your choice. If that means taking the cover off, breaking it down, and re-assembling it, then that’s fine. If your sofa needs a little steam to remove the creases then we’ll do that as well. And, no, before you ask, we won’t leave you with all the packaging, we’ll take that away too.
Do you deliver outside of the UK?
We do deliver to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland (please note that the price you see on our website may differ from what we charge you due to differences in your country’s VAT rate). For all other non-mainland UK and international shipments we are happy to deliver to a port/shipping company if your choice. Get in touch with our comfy team for more details.
Can I have a Saturday delivery?
Yes, but they are darn popular. Best to request when you order, and we’ll do all we can. However it may extend your waiting time a little…
Can you remove my old sofa?
We can indeed. Our drivers can take away your old sofa upon delivery of your new sofa for £50. Please make sure to ask us for this service at least two weeks prior to your scheduled delivery. In turn, you will most likely be given an afternoon slot so our drivers can organise this on their return delivery run.
